Flowchart Maker for Excel vs Gamma

Flowchart Maker for Excel eliminates the tedious work of dragging, dropping, and manually aligning shapes. Users enter process steps, step IDs, and routing logic into standard Excel rows, and the local layout engine instantly calculates optimal node placement and routes connector lines.

Built on a local .NET architecture (C#, VB.NET, WPF), the add-in processes data entirely on your local machine, keeping sensitive business process information private without relying on external SaaS servers. All rendered diagrams are 100% standard Microsoft Office shape objects, making them fully viewable and editable by anyone in Excel, Word, or PowerPoint, even without the add-in installed.
