LiteScribe records meetings and turns them into a searchable transcript plus AI-written notes, without sending a bot into the call, so nothing extra appears in the participant list. It captures system audio and the microphone together, shows a live transcript with speaker labels while the meeting runs, and afterwards produces a summary and action items you can edit. You can also question the transcript or run your own prompt over it, using a choice of 14 or more AI models or your own API key.

It covers more than 100 languages and reports 94.1 percent accuracy on the standard model and around 95 percent on the high-accuracy mode. It runs on the web, on Windows, macOS and Linux, on iOS and Android, and as a Chrome and Edge extension.

On the desktop apps both transcription and the AI note-taking can run fully offline and on-device, so the audio never leaves the machine. To be clear about where data goes: the cloud path used by the web app, the mobile apps and the browser extension is processed by AssemblyAI in the United States; only the desktop offline mode is local.

The free tier is a permanent 120 minutes a month rather than a trial. LiteScribe is made by a UK company founded in 2024.
