AI startup Sentient has launched an open-source Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) network, allowing multiple AI agents and data sources to collaborate in real-time on a single platform.

The network, accessible through "Sentient Chat" is now available to its two million waitlisted users. Sentient aims to compete with major players like OpenAI and AWS by offering an open, decentralized alternative to closed AI ecosystems.

The company claims the network can perform complex, multistep workflows, such as generating comprehensive investment reports or personalized news briefings. This initiative is positioned to provide an independent AI infrastructure for nations outside the US-China AI rivalry.
